Travis Lewis

| A Note From Travis: Thanks to all of you who have inquired about me recently. As you may know, May 1, 2004 was my last appearance on stage with the family. I feel so blessed to have been able to travel full-time with the Lewis Family for the last 29 years. I hold dear to my heart so many memories of being with Pop, Grandma, Daddy and all of the Lewis Family. Just as the family has undergone many changes with the loss of Mom, Pop, and Wallace from stage, I, too, felt like it was time for a change in my direction of life. After many hours of prayer and seeking God's will for my life, I knew God was urging me to take a step of faith and leave the family to follow Him. To date, I am still unsure of what the future holds for me and my family, but I do know Who holds the future, and we will continue to rest in His promises! The friendships I have made on the road throughout the years are dear to me, and I look forward to seeing you again in the future. Meanwhile, please continue to pray for the Lewis Family in their travels, and me and my family as we strive to live in such a way that would bring glory to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Thanks again!

Travis is the son of Wallace and Betty Jean Lewis. Wallace is the second oldest child of Pop and Mom Lewis and for many years he traveled with the group playing guitar and singing. In 1974, his son Travis joined the group playing their upright acoustic bass. Travis has been named 'Best Bass Player' at SPBGMA's awards, and he is considered one of the best in the business. In 2004 Travis left the Lewis Family, and he is currently driving the bus for cousins Jeff and Sheri Easter. Travis and his wife Karen have four children - Jameson, Cameron, Angelyn, and Amanda. Travis and Karen enjoy spending time together as a family, and they homeschool their children.
